House Made Hospitality announces 3 new venues

Sydney-based hospitality group House Made has confirmed it will open three new concepts in Surry Hills next year. The venues will launch in the Wunderlich Lane precinct on the corner of Baptist and Cleveland Streets, a newly developed village that will feature a boutique hotel, supermarket, fresh food stores, and a range of food and beverage outlets at its completion.

Ex-Glebe cafe operators hit with $124,000 in penalties

The former operators of a Sydney cafe have faced the Fair Work Ombudsman in court, which has ended with fines exceeding $124,000. Co-directors of More Than Skin Pty Ltd Lila Stojcevski and Lupo Stojcevski previously ran The Noshery cafe in Glebe, and were found to have underpaid employees. Three workers including two international students and a working holiday visa holder were underpaid for various periods between September and December 2020 and two were not provided with pay slips.
