Scandic has signed a long-term lease agreement with property developer SRV for a new 144-room Scandic Go in Oulu, Finland. The hotel will be centrally located in northern Finland’s largest city and is expected to open during the second half of 2025.

Ruby’s debut in France follows news that the group will open its second Italian hotel in 2025 , located in Rome. The site in Marseilles is also expected to open at the end of 2025. It is set to include 237 rooms, workspace, and a 24/7 bar with a rooftop terrace.

Andras House, Northern Ireland’s hospitality and property development company, has secured a £7m funding from Ulster Bank for its new 83-bedroom Marcus Hotel Portrush. Construction on the new hotel is continuing at pace and is expected to complete in 2025 in time for the The Open, which returns to Royal Portrush next year.
